Excuse me, do you have Prince Albert in a can?

We haven't really slept in like 24 hours, and we've walked all over London today, so we're kind of tired. But Pete Dougherty is just down the street and promised to help us out.

We started out at Buckingham Palace (which is HUGE!) and unexpectedly arrived just in time to watch the changing of the guard. You wouldn't think swords and capes and horses would go together, but they seem to pull it off. Then we just started wandering around and ended up over in Green Park, then St. James Park, which is right next to Hyde Park (where we ate lunch and saw the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain). Are there any buildings in this city? Finally we got over to Kensington Palace & Gardens (where Queen Victoria was born and Princess Diana lived), and ended up in Notting Hill where I searched everywhere for Hugh Grant, but alas...

That's when it kicked up a little thunderstorm so we had our first tube ride back to the hotel (Mind the Gap!!). The tube was super easy.

So I guess now we've seen it... just kidding.

So far our impressions of London is it's really clean, easy to get around in and well organized, the people are super nice and they treat dogs like royalty. And it's old, really old, like "this pub has been under the same management for 300 years old." We love it so far and can't wait to start again tomorrow.

Hope all you yanks have a good day! We're headed to bed.
